NEWPORT BEACH, CA (June 2, 2008) – LANDMARK Restaurant and Lounge announced today the appointment of Brian Hanson to the position of General Manager. Hanson brings decades of expert restaurant management skills to the position. Working in tandem with newly appointed Operations Manager, Brian Shaw, Hanson will oversee daily restaurant and lounge operations.

Past restaurants under Hanson’s tutelage include some of the most respected names in the business, including Houston’s Steakhouse in Century City and Manhattan Beach, as well as Bandera in Brentwood, and most recently Bandera in Corona Del Mar. A native of Portland, Oregon, Hanson relocated to Newport Beach in 1979, where he continues to reside with his wife and two children.
 
A perennial hot spot since opening in 2005, LANDMARK is located blocks from the Pacific Ocean in the heart of Corona Del Mar. LANDMARK is open for dinner each day from 5:00pm to 10:30pm. Cocktails are served until 12:30am Sunday through Thursdays and until 1:30am Friday and Saturday.
