NEWPORT BEACH, CA (May 9, 2008) – LANDMARK Restaurant and Lounge in Corona Del Mar, CA., reopened its doors May 1st, 2008 following an extensive remodel. Rated Four Stars by the Orange County Register, and voted Best Date Spot by AOL CityGuide, LANDMARK has made its mark as one of Orange County’s premier dining destinations. The renovation provides a new level of luxury and sophistication, while maintaining a casual and relaxed atmosphere. The upscale décor is complimented by a refined food and wine menu, courtesy of Executive Chef Sabre Kennedy.
The makeover, which includes the restaurant’s spacious and decidedly intimate dining rooms, lounge and outdoor patio, provides a blend of traditional and contemporary surroundings throughout. The warm atmosphere and friendly and cordial service plays host to the special emphasis placed on the food, wine and overall dining experience. The refined menu highlights the best of contemporary causal cuisine combining new specialties with classic favorites. The offering and presentation, which adds a touch of Kennedy’s famous Island-style cooking, is sophisticated enough for a celebratory meal, but casual enough for weekday dining. “It was fantastic. For the convenience of event planners, the restaurant’s three separate dining rooms satisfy diverse occasions from large special events, dinner, cocktail and wine pairings. With the addition of a classic baby grand piano, the lounge now features nightly live piano entertainment. Weekend after-dinner dancing primarily reserved for dining and bottle service guests continues with great popularity.
LANDMARK is open for dinner daily from 5:00pm to 10:30pm. Cocktails are served until 12:30am Sunday through Thursdays and until 1:30am Friday and Saturday.
